Doublestruck publishes the popular Exampro and Testbase question banks and associated services. It is an Educational Technology company and part of the AQA family. It specialises in technology that addresses the needs of teachers in formative assessment and reporting.
Exampro
Exampro has been supporting secondary school teachers for almost 30 years. It is best known for its question banks, which contain thousands of searchable AQA GCSE and A-level questions, mark schemes and examiner comments.
Exampro also offers interactive exemplification, onscreen assessment and reporting. Mock marks can be entered into our reporting tool to generate detailed insights on student, class and cohort performance as well. Onscreen-enabled question banks enable teachers to compile, set and mark assessments onscreen. Students complete their assessments via a secure, easy-to-use student portal and reports are generated automatically.
Testbase
Testbase’s searchable question banks have been used in almost every primary school to support formative assessment. Thousands of SATs questions can be filtered to create customised assessments quickly and easily. There is also a variety of ready-made resources that complement the flexibility of the question banks.
Testbase also offers termly and progress tests - called Testbase National Curriculum Tests - for years 2 to 6. Marks can be entered into our reporting tool to generate detailed insights on pupil, class and cohort performance instantly. Population analysis is also made available as soon as enough marks have been entered so teachers can compare their pupils’ performance with others across the country who took the same test at a similar time.
