Overview

Tvar is a mobile app that uses facial recognition for immediate access to student medications, allergies, and medical conditions in medical incidents. This replaces paper-based systems and search-based apps used to retrieve student information in critical incidents.

Tvar is a mobile application that enhances daily care and student safety by utilising facial recognition technology to instantly access information such as medications, allergies, emergency contacts, and other details directly from a school's database, integrating seamlessly with schools' current learning management systems. This eliminates the reliance on paper-based systems and manual searches, removes human error in medication administration and student information retrieval, and significantly improves response times in emergency situations.

Focusing on the importance of data security, Tvar does not store any sensitive data on our systems. Instead, it relies on minimal, de-identified data, which is securely encrypted and hosted on Australian servers. To further protect user information, Tvar features security measures such as two-factor authentication, ensuring a secure login process. Additionally, the system enhances transparency by notifying key school staff whenever a student's information or medical records are accessed.

The app is designed to support teachers, staff, SSO’s, and volunteers in providing quick and accurate care, particularly in critical situations, reinforcing the safety and well-being of students on campus. You can find more information on our website: https://www.tvar.com.au

The Tvar app is managed through a web console which allows automatic syncing the student information and staff accounts, with the option to create temporary accounts for TRT staff or parents on excursions.
